State Privacy Rights
Last updated: 2026-08-13
If you live in a US state with a comprehensive privacy law — California (CCPA/CPRA), Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, Utah, and the growing list of states with similar statutes — this supplements our Privacy Policy and takes precedence over it where the two diverge.
Which Categories We Handle
The relevant categories are identifiers (IP, cookie identifiers, device identifiers), internet or network activity (page views, referrers and timestamps on hearingharbor.com), and contact information limited to any email address you chose to provide. Sources: your device, plus analytics and advertising partners where engaged.
Sale/Sharing
Personal information is not sold for money by Hearingharbor. That said, where advertising is served, ad partners may receive cookie or device identifiers, and under the CCPA/CPRA and similar statutes that may amount to a ‘sale’ or to ‘sharing’ for targeted advertising. Opt out via Do Not Sell or Share My Information. Under-16 data is not knowingly involved.
Requests You Can Make
You have the right to access, correct, and delete your personal information, to obtain a portable copy of it, and to opt out of its sale or sharing and of targeted advertising. In states that provide it, you may also appeal a decision to decline a request. We will not discriminate against you for making any of these requests.
Submitting a Request
Write to hello@hearingharbor.com describing your request. Opt-outs can also be exercised without writing at all, by enabling Global Privacy Control in your browser — we act on that signal automatically. Requests are verified via the email address used, handled within statutory deadlines, and may be submitted by an authorised agent holding your written permission.
